Pre-training clinical and research experience

  • Research fellow, worked with Dr Mark Chapleau at Abboud’s Cardiovascular research center at University of Iowa; studying aortic stiffness in mice with different genotypes by using pulse wave velocity. (Sep 2014 until Jan 2015)

  • Attended one month of clinical experience in Cardiac Electrophysiology department in “Hospital Clinico Universitario” in Valladolid, Spain in June 2012. 

  • Clinical Rotation in Cardiology and CCU service at University of Louisville Hospital, Kentucky USA, October-November 2012 under the guidance of Dr. Andrew Lenneman, Heart failure Attending and Dr. Rita Coram, Interventional Cardiology Attending.

  • Clinical Rotation in Haematology and Oncology at University of Louisville Hospital, Kentucky USA, Novembe-December 2012 under the guidance of Dr Jason Chesney and Dr Rebecca Redman.
